1     Wading

2026, 11.2” x 11.2”
Hard cover, 180 pages

A photo series that took shape from the bookends of his parents’ lives and the discovery of his father’s multi-decade archive of negatives. He sequenced these photographs to understand them better and construct a portrait in absence of firsthand stories.

By pairing them with his own work, he aims to showcase how a home can change both physically and emotionally, and to animate the stagnant feeling when one partner passes before the other. The 10 year-long project ended as abruptly as it began, but it served as an exercise in patience and the acceptance of loss.
